7.3 ONWARD OR RETURN TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION AND CARRIER DISCRETION
All passengers are solely responsible for ensuring they possess valid and subsisting onward or return travel documentation as required by the immigration laws of their destination or transit countries. Kenya Airways shall have no obligation to verify the authenticity or continued validity of tickets issued by other carriers and reserves the right, in its sole but reasonable discretion, to refuse carriage, delay boarding, or impose conditions (including financial guarantees) where it believes that a passenger’s onward or return travel documentation is missing, invalid, cancelled, or otherwise likely to result in inadmissibility or immigration non-compliance.
In the event a passenger is denied entry or declared inadmissible due to the absence or cancellation of such documentation, the passenger shall indemnify Kenya Airways in full for all resultant costs, fines, charges, or repatriation expenses. Nothing in this clause shall be construed to limit passenger rights under applicable international conventions, IATA resolutions, or regional air passenger regulations, and if any part is found unenforceable in a particular jurisdiction, it shall be adjusted to comply while preserving the carrier’s right to mitigate immigration and operational risk.
